A new start Feral kittens trapped in Rusk are on off to a new start, thanks to the effort of a Jacksonville resident working to trap, neuter and rehome approximately up to 30 felines identified as part of a feral cat colony in the vicinity of Rusk State Hospital. At the Museum Honoring the state’s first native governor, a special exhibit focusing on Governor Jim Hogg (1891-94) will include a special metal sculpture of Hogg displayed outside the Heritage Center of Cherokee County, Texas.
