Tigers advance in football play-offs

CROCKETT – The Troup Tigers secured their ticket to the next round of football play-offs after winning a Nov. 15 bi-district match against the Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls, 35-6. 
Troup (8-3, 5-1) will go against the DeKalb Bears (10-1, 6-0) on Nov. 22. Kick-off is 7 p.m. Friday at Pine Tree Pirate Stadium in Longview.
