Commissioners’ Court to meet April 9
RUSK – The Cherokee County Commissioners’ Court will convene in regular session, 9 a.m. Tuesday, April 9, at the Cherokee County Courthouse in Rusk to consider the following agenda:
• Review the Health and Wellness Program status
• Consider approval of engagement letter with Gabriel, Roeder, Smith & Co (GRS) regarding Dec. 31, 2023, OPEB Valuation and the GASB 75 Valuation Report for the fiscal years ending 2024 and 2025
• Request for approval for Precinct 3 to assist First Baptist Church of Cuney in removal of concrete
• Request for approval for one or more precincts to accept material from US Highway 175 widening project Hillencamp
• Discuss Residual ARPA Funding plus interest
• Consider and approve recommended additions to the Social Media Policy for the revised Employee Handbook
• Consider approval of a consent agenda that includes Final Plat creating Lots 1-14 of Pecan Orchard Estates in Block No. 27 of the Jose Pineda East Four League Grant, abstract No. 41, Cherokee County, Texas, and creates Pecan Orchard Drive, a private road and not dedicated to Cherokee County, Texas, or the public; along with a line item transfer (L24012) for Precinct #3 to transfer funds from his primary American Rescue Plan expense line item to individual project expense line items
