Christmas in Cherokee County

Santa Claus recently visited with the folks gathered for a holiday meal at the Community Center in Reklaw. Although it is the busiest time of the year at the North Pole, he found time to read to the youngsters – and the young at heart. Merry Christmas from the Cherokeean Herald family to yours!

Alto tribute: The Cherokee County Historical Commission and Alto EDC teamed up with Chick-fil-A on Monday to hand out free chicken sandwiches and flags to veterans at the 4-way stop in Alto.
