We remind our readers that several groups will be hosting a free holiday dinner on Thursday, and would love to see you there:

• Bowens Temple Church, 308 N. Bolton Street, Jacksonville, will host its Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner, from 12 – 2 p.m.

• First United Methodist Church, 255 Henderson Ave. in Rusk, will host a 1:30 p.m. luncheon

• Reklaw's first-ever community Thanksgiving dinner begins at 5 p.m. at the City Hall, 530 Nacogdoches St.
