Mechanic Stephen Miller of Oakland is spending his day today helping out vehicle owners with trouble-shooting issues with air conditioning systems at a parking lot check station in front of Rusk’s TrueValue Store on North Main Street. Miller and his eight-year-old son Joshua set up the site at about 7 a.m. Friday, Aug. 4, and have received a steady stream of vehicles all morning long. Armed with 40 cans of coolant, the Millers plan to be at the site until late afternoon, Stephen said.
