Severe weather forecast for East Texas

On Nov. 4, 2024, National Weather Service – Shreveport reported thunderstorms will develop and move into western portions of the Ark-La-Tex Monday afternoon, continuing through the evening and into the overnight hours. The primary severe hazards will be damaging winds and heavy rainfall, but the potential for a few tornadoes also exists during this timeframe with the greatest risk area north of the I-30 corridor.
