UPDATE: Annual seed swap postponed to Feb. 7

The 2022 Seed Swap sponsored by Cherokee County AgriLife Extension has been postponed to Monday, Feb. 7, due to inclement weather, according to officials. The time and location remain the same.

RUSK – Gardeners take note: The 2022 Annual Seed Swap hosted by Cherokee County AgriLife Extension has been set Feb. 4 in Rusk.

The event is slated from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4, at the Rusk Civic Center, located at 555 Euclid St., and will offer a variety of seeds, transplants and information provided by the extension office, members of the Cherokee County Master Gardeners and other donors, all free of cost.

CCMG members also will be on hand, fielding questions from visitors wanting information about growing plants.
