Low cost pet vaccination clinics set

The annual county wide low-cost vaccination clinic schedule has been announced.

This year the Cherokee Animal Clinic-Rusk and Kessel Veterinary Clinic in Alto are offering vaccination shots for both cats and dogs at various locations across Cherokee County. Vaccinations for rabies, distemper, Parvo, feline leukemia and kennel cough are available.

Rabies shots only are $12 for both cats and dogs. Cost for shots for dogs are $30 for rabies, distemper, Parvo; $40 for rabies, distemper, Parvo and kennel cough.

Cost of shots for cats are $30 for rabies, distemper; $40 for rabies, distemper, leukemia.

- 6 p.m., Monday, May 6 at the firestation in Reklaw;

- 6 p.m., Tuesday, May 7 at the Gallatin Community Center;

- all day Wednesday, May 8 at Cherokee Animal Clinic in Rusk;

- 6 p.m., Thursday, May 9 at the Baptist church in Maydelle; and

- 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, May 10 at Kessel Veterinary Clinic in Alto.
