Jacksonville ISD Board Names Sara Gill Lone Finalist for Superintendent

The Jacksonville Independent School District Board of Trustees voted Tuesday evening to name Sara Gill as the lone finalist for JISD Superintendent. 
Mrs. Gill currently serves as Deputy Superintendent of Jacksonville ISD and has spent all 29 years of her public education career with the district, including 18 years in leadership roles. The Board's action begins the required 21-day public notice period under Texas Government Code Section 552.126.  Following that period, the Board may consider final employment action at a subsequent meeting. 
Jacksonville ISD will share additional updates with employees, families, and the community as the process moves forward.
