Sarah Berdette Herring King

(Sarah) Berdette (Herring) King passed away peacefully on October 30, 2026, at the age of 93, surrounded by loved ones.
Beloved wife (Sug) of 73 years of Charles “Charlie” King of Webster Groves, Mo; dear mother in-law to Christine Slaughter-King; sister in-law to Donna Stevens; aunt to Katharine Stevens, Karen (Kyle) DePew-Jaeger and special friend to Robin Schoenbeck.
Berdette was preceded in death by her three sons, Charles R. King Jr., Charles “Brett” King and Stanton A. King and her mother Doris B. Lasley.
Interment will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.
