William Elliott Bradley Jr.

William Elliott Bradley Jr. died June 27,2026 in Tyler, Texas. He was born in Orange, TX on August 9, 1944. 

Bill graduated from Alto High School in 1963 then went on to graduate from Stephen F. Austin University in 1969 with a double major in math and accounting. He married the love of his life on August 17 of 1968 and spent 57 years happily married until the time of his death. He enjoyed Alto football and spent his time reading and doing various wood projects.

Bill is preceded in death by his mother Mae Conn; children Jill and Keith Bradley; and his sisters Jennette Conn and Margie Letney.

He is survived by his spouse Jan Bradley; grandchildren Erika and Sara Gonzales; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Bill is survived by siblings John Franklin Bradley; brother David Conn and his wife Gloria; as well as sister Laura Olsen and husband Danny; and sister-in-law Wilene Shuptrine. Bill is also survived by his adopted son Ismael Gonzalez and his wife Delfina.

Pallbearers include Ismael Gonzalez, David Conn, Dewayne Conn, Josh Shuptrine, Josh Pattillo, and Derek Cooper. Honorary Pallbearer is Daniel Conn.

A time of visitation will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Rusk, Texas. Graveside services will follow visitation on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at Shiloh Cemetery in Alto, Texas.
