UPDATE! EBANEZ HAS BEEN ARRESTED AND NOW IN THE CHEROKEE COUNTY JAIL.


 On June 24, 2026, at approximately 5:41 p.m., Emiliano Lorenzo Alonzo Ebanez was taken into custody at the Jacksonville Police Department in connection with the Lincoln Park shooting on June 21, 2026. 
Ebanez will be transported to the Cherokee County Jail, where he will be processed for booking. 
The Jacksonville Police Department appreciates the efforts of all agencies involved in this investigation. No further details are available at this time as the investigation remains ongoing.
