Flag Day celebration slated June 14 in Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE – The ninth annual Flag Day celebration begins 2 p.m. Sunday, June 14, at Jacksonville’s Hazel Tilton Memorial Park, 305 S. Bolton St. 

This year’s event focuses on the 250th anniversary of the birth of America, and features song, history and celebration focusing on the “Stars and Stripes Forever, emblem of the brave and true, the red & white & blue.”
