National Day of Prayer

On May 7, Cherokee County will join the National Day of Prayer on the Cherokee County Courthouse lawn. This is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting Americans to pray for the nation.  The 2026 theme, "Glorify God Among the Nations," invites believers to pray for the country and its leaders, inspired by the desire to reflect God's love and wisdom in the coming year. Join various members of the community as they offer prayers and sing patriotic songs.
