Local softball teams advance to bi-district playoffs

The Alto Lady Jackets remain undefeated in district play, securing the DISTRICT 22-2A championship April 15 with a 5-3 win over Douglass. Their season record – as of April 15 – is 22-7-1 (10-0 district). During Wednesday’s game, senior standout Lacey Stephenson pitched her 600th career strikeout.
