Teresa Lynn Weeks,

Funeral services for Teresa Lynn Weeks, 61, of Rusk will be Saturday, April 11th at 2 PM in the Rusk Church of Christ with Bro. Robbie Arrington and Bro. Steve Weeks officiating. The family will receive visitors from 1PM. to 2 PM at the church with service starting at 2 PM. A private burial will follow at the Weeks Family Cemetery. 

Teresa went to be with the Lord, Monday, April 6th at her home in Rusk. She was born July 10th, 1964, in Conroe, Texas to Marvin Weeks and Linda Jackson Weeks. Teresa spent many years working at Gateway in Jacksonville, where she formed lasting friendships and touched the lives of many. Teresa was known for her joyful spirit and her bright smile, and the way she loved everyone she met. She had a special gift for making people feel seen and welcome, and she was always genuinely happy to see those around her. Her kindness and warmth left a lasting impression on all who knew her. 

She was preceded in death by her mother Linda Weeks as well as multiple sets of grandparents. She is survived by her father and mother Marvin and Shirley Weeks; siblings Steve Weeks and wife Dena, Karan Weeks and husband Johnny, Billy “Bubba” Dethlefs and wife Sue, Tammy Maple and husband Joe, Billy Thomasson and wife Angela, Shawn Davis and wife Misty, Casey Davis and wife Joy, Robin Weeks and Jaimie Beasley, along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members who loved her dearly.
