Geneva Merle Acker Trotter

Geneva Merle Acker Trotter was born in Jacksonville, TX on December 25, 1945. She entered into heaven with her Lord and Savior on December 31, 2025 at the age of 80.
She is preceded in death by parents Baylous Grace Acker and Fannie Mae Yarbrough Acker, husband Archie Trotter, brother Douglas Acker, sisters Madora Stover, baby sister Emma Acker, daughter Megan Chyenne Trotter, grandson Michael David Trotter, half-brother Bill Hendley.
She is survived by son David Trotter of Gallatin, TX, daughter Thresia and husband Scotty Johnson of Maydelle, TX, daughter Deann Trotter of Jacksonville, TX, daughter Janna Trotter of Jacksonville, TX, sister Gloria Walker of Rusk, TX, sister in law Mary Acker of Rusk, TX, grandchildren Riley Trotter and Chris Parks, Kayla and husband Cody Lawson, JonBruce and wife Heidi Trotter, Austin and wife Taylor Johnson, Allen Johnson, Michaela Lloyd, and Maycee Parks and fiancé Carson White, great grandchildren Karlee and Casen Lawson, Bethany, JonMichael, June, Vivien, Olivia, Huntley and Sterling Trotter, great-great granddaughter Oaklee White.
She enjoyed her Three Musketeers candy bars, working on her crossword puzzles, reading her western books, and watching her western movies. She also enjoyed sitting on her porch watching the traffic.
A time of visitation will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026 from 6-8 p.m. in the Chapel of Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 10 a.m. at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Maydelle, Texas.
Pallbearers are Walter Walker, Scott McNair, Shannon Selman, Shannon Lloyd, Chris Parks, and Kenneth McKnight.
