Tonya Michelle Lawson

Tonya Michelle Lawson, 55, of Rusk, Texas passed away on December 31, 2025 in Tyler, Texas. She was born on February 8, 1970, to Harold Langston and Sylvia Jane (Powell) Langston in Jacksonville, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her father Harold Langston, nephew Aaron Langston, aunt Jannie Coker, grandparents Tom and Bootsie Langston, grandfather Edward Powell, aunt Sue Langston, Harold Keith Langston, and uncle RC Langston.
She is survived by husband and high school sweetheart Curtis Lawson, Son and daughter-in-law Cody and Kayla Lawson, grandchildren Karlee and Casen, mother Sylvia Jane Langston, brother Tony Langston, grandmother Catherine Powell, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Tonya was known for her love of the Lord and her family.
A time of visitation will be on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Wallace-Thompson Funeral home. Funeral services will follow the visitation on January 4,2026 at 2 p.m. also in the Chapel of Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are LC Langston, Dustin Langston, Wayne Langston, Mike Sullivan, Terry Wheeler, Timmy Joe Langston.
