Marjorie Thomason, 91, passed away peacefully in her sleep early Friday morning November 28, 2025. After graduating high school, she joined the U.S. Air Force and was stationed at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, where she met and married her husband, Max. Together, they had five children and lived in New Orleans, Shreveport, and ultimately settled in Dialville, TX in 1970.
Marjorie worked as an accounts payable clerk at Bealls General Office for 20 years before retiring to spend time with her grandchildren and travel. She visited all 50 states and parts of Canada and was known for her vivid storytelling and attention to detail about her journeys.
She cherished her family, including four children, ten grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren, with another on the way. Marjorie enjoyed reading, games, puzzles, movies, and cooking for family gatherings, especially during holidays.
A devoted member of Central Baptist Church since 1970, Marjorie remained active until her health declined.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Max, and infant daughter, Marsha.
She is survived by her children: David Thomason, Patsy Thomason, Sandra Thomason, and Linda Edison and bonus son Randy Jones; grandchildren: Lindsey & Fred McDaniel, Lukas & Brittney Thomason, Amanda Reynolds, Jon & Cera Reynolds, Josh & Liz Jones, Emily & Cade Wilkerson, Jessica & Michael Clater, Brianna & Taylor Bingham, Nick Thomason, and Zack Thomason; and great-grandchildren: Abby & Hadlee McDaniel, Birdie & Sunny Thomason, Aubree & Allie Reynolds, Sutton & Coast Wilkerson, Laiya & Reece Clater, and Brexley & Paisley Bingham.
