Cut Grass In The Road

Just in case you are not aware, there is a state law in Texas that prohibits the discharge of your cut grass into the roadway. (Texas Health and Safety Code, section 365. 012) It is probably the most dangerous thing for motorcyclists, bicyclists and unsafe for motorists. It can make the road surface similar to driving on ice. Start mowing on the side of the lawn closest to the road and mow away from it or purchase a mulching kit for your mowers. Not to mention you are throwing good nutrients away from your turf. Mulching them up back into your lawn is the next best thing to fertilizing.
