Saturday is Flag Day

A special Flag Day Celebration is this Saturday, June 14, at Hazel Tilton Park, 7:00 a.m. in downtown Jacksonville, located next to the Vanishing Texana Museum.

The Program will be a musical tribute to the Flag. 

Chick-Fil-A will provide chicken biscuits to attendees. Coffee and Orange Juice will be provided by Jacksonville Wednesday Study Club, the Garden Club and the Cherokee County Historical Commission. 

In addition US Flags will be furnished by the Cherokee County Historical Commission.

The event is sponsored by The City of Jacksonville and will provide a patriotic start to the Tomato Fest.
