RISD trustees to meet June 9, June 11

RUSK – Local school board members will meet twice during the upcoming week in regular and special session.

Trustees will meet in regular session 6 p.m. Monday at the Rusk ISD Administrative Office,
203 East 7th St., to will address the following action items:

• Consider separate but related actions that call for hire an Interim Superintendent and discussion of the  content of that person’s contract
• Consider a consent agenda featuring minutes of the previous meetings and a review of financial update 
• Consider Open Education Resources Transition Plan for Bluebonnet Learning Instructional Materials for Grades 6-8 Mathematics and Algebra I.
• Consider Interlocal Agreement between Rusk ISD and Rusk Police Department
