RUSK – A male suspect is in custody following a Tuesday morning scuffle at the Cherokee County Courthouse. The man, who was attending an April 8, 2025, hearing in the 369th District Court, attempted to escape the courtroom and got into an altercation with a bailiff, who reported minor injuries, officials said.
