Doris Lea Roberson

Doris Lea Roberson went to meet the Lord on April 5, 2025 at the age of 82 in Rusk, Texas. Doris was at home.
Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Roger Roberson Jr. and his wife Linda Kay and Todd Lee Roberson and one sister, Darla Jean Hammit. She has 5 grandchildren: Ashlei Chaves, Andrea Roberson, James D. Roberson, Shiloh Rose, and Kimber Kay Roberson; also 5 great-grandchildren. 
She loved her church family and doing mission work, music, crafting, and flowers. She volunteered for 15 years at prison visiting center.
She is preceded in death by her husband Roger Roberson; mother Neiline, father Kenneth Vallier, and her sister Shirley Witt.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Eastside Baptist Church at 10 a.m.
