City of Wells: City Wide Boil Water Notice Canceled 3/11
On March 7, 2025, the City of Wells issued a boil water notification due to a CHLORINE PUMP MALFUNCTION; the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has required our water system for the CITY OF WELLS ID# 0370004 to notify customers of the need to boil their water before consumption.
This noticeĀ affected ALL CUSTOMERS ON THE CITY OF WELLS WATER SYSTEM.
Our system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore adequate pressure, disinfectant levels, and bacteriological quality and has provided TCEQ with testing results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling as of March 11, 2025.
