Funeral services for Alison Porter, 41, of Alto were held Sunday, February 9, at 2 PM in the O.T. Allen & Son Funeral Home in Alto, Texas with Bro. Jackie Yates officiating. Alison passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February 4, 2025 in Jacksonville. She was born December 28, 1983 in Nacogdoches, Texas to Tommy Ray Liles and Tammy Lynn Sartain Liles. 
She lived all her life in Alto and was a 2002 Alto High School Graduate.  Alison loved hunting, fishing, gaming and all things Harry Potter. She led the Alto High School Lady Jackets to a state softball championship in 1999 as a freshman. 
Alison was a loving wife, mother and aunt, she loved softball and sharing her love of pitching to anyone who was willing to learn. 
Alison was preceded in death by sister Kayla Liles; grandparents Will and Sarah Liles and Bo and Virginia Sartain; aunt Patty Sartain and uncle David Sartain. She is survived by her husband Scott Porter; son Carson Porter; father Tommy Liles; mother Tammy Liles; sister Heaven Liles; sister-in-law Mandy Porter; nieces: Janiah Griffin, Amaya Porter, Sha’Kiyah Griffin, Te’Asia Griffin and Ti’Aria Griffin; nephews: Daxton Griffin, Kai Griffin, and Caden Porter; mother-in-law Judy Porter; father-in-law Rick Porter; aunt and uncle Donna and John Jiga, aunt and uncle Sandy and Jackie Yates, aunt Nancy McCarley; brother-in-law Demarcus Griffin and many other cousins and friends. 
Pallbearers were Matt Byers, Randy Selman, Jacob Hailey, Jonathan Yates, Benjamin Yates and Nathan Yates. Honorary pallbearers were Ethan Yates, Rick Porter and members of the 1999 State Championship softball team.
