A funeral service for Alma Rebbecca Milliken Gray, 82, of Maydelle, is scheduled for Monday, January 20, 2025, at Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville with Rev. Earl Socia officiating.  She will be laid to rest at Mt. Comfort Cemetery in Maydelle.
Visitation will begin Sunday, January 19, 2025, and family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. at Autry Funeral Home in Jacksonville.
Rebbecca was born on September 26, 1942, in Baytown, and passed away on January 16, 2025, in Tyler.
Rebbecca Gray, affectionately known as Mama, Granny, Nina, and Gra-nana, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and joy. She was a devoted Christian who shared the love of Jesus with everyone she met.
Rebbecca's creative spirit shone through her flower arrangements and her love of decorating, bringing beauty to the lives of those around her. She enjoyed watching western movies and was a great dancer, always ready to share a twirl in the living room. Rebbecca was an avid Texans football fan, cheering passionately for her team.
If you knew her, you knew her smile that lit up the entire room.  She always had a positive and uplifting spirit she shared with all. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, whose lives she touched with her warmth and generosity.
Rebbecca was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey (Jack) Milliken and Mildred A. McDonald; son, James Deral Gray; husband, James W. Gray; brother, D.A. Milliken; grandsons, James Brian Gray and Jason Weldon Gray, and great-granddaughter, Jaylee Gray.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jody Dean Gray and wife, Amanda, of Maydelle, and Janice Deanette Gray, of Lufkin; sisters, Nancy Barrow of Splendora, Barbara Hull, of Willis, and Geneva Cowart and husband, Leon, of Willis; grandchildren, Amanda Click, Rebbecca Nowell, David Gray, Cristal Hicks, Ashley Netherton, Hailey Faith Gray, and Trenton Gray; 21 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Kyle Gray, Kohen Gray, Kaiden James, Wayne Hull, Kary Hull, JC Barrow, Ray Threadgill, and Michael Gray.
Honorary pallbearers will be Trenton Gray, Josiah Givens, Jason Gray and David Gray.
