Major wreck on Highway 79 at Neches River Bridge

UPDATE: According to Cherokee County Sheriff's department, at lease one person is confirmed to be deceased.

Cherokee County Alert: US Highway 79 south is completely shut down due to a traffic accident at the Neches River crossing. Please find alternate route of travel

There is a report of a major traffic accident on Highway 79 at the Neches River bridge.  Apparently two semi trucks and an SUV collided on the Cherokee county side of the bridge. Highway 79 shut down. Developing story and we'll have more details as they become available
