Francis Wayne Lloyd

Francis Wayne Lloyd, 85, of Rusk, went to be with his Lord during the early morning hours on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.  A graveside service will be held on Saturday afternoon, December 21, 2024, to begin at noon at Rocky Springs Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Dialville, Texas. A viewing will begin in the cemetery at 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Reverend Randy Sparks will officiate the service. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Bullard.

Francis Wayne Lloyd was born in Rusk on August, 23, 1939, to parents Hugh and Ottis Lloyd. Mr. Lloyd was an electrician by trade. He retired as a maintenance technician from the Rusk State Hospital - after providing 23 years of service to that facility as an electrician/maintenance technician.

Mr. Lloyd was a was preceded by his father, Hugh Lester Lloyd; mother, Ottis Mandy Lloyd; brother, Donald Ray Lloyd, brother, Travis Earl Lloyd, brother, Marvin Smith Lloyd; and sister, Gloria Janice Casbeer.

He is survived by his daughter, Pamela Lynn Murphy, daughter, Nita Faye Schenk; long-time girlfriend, Sharon Barnes; sister, Dwana Jackson, sister, Betty DeLuna; grandson, Larry Schenk, grandson, Christopher Lloyd, grandson, Jesse Murphy, grandson, Michael Murphy; granddaughter, Jamie Murphy; great-grandson, Jaxon Smith; great-granddaughter, Alison Lloyd; and special niece, Charlotte Haynie.
