CANCELLED: Wells Boil Water Notice
Issued Sept. 23, 2024
On Sept. 19, 2024, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required our public water system, CITY OF WELLS ID# 0370004, to issue a Boil Water Notice (BWN) to inform our customers that due to a water main repair, water from our system must be boiled before consumption.
This boil water notice affected the following street in the city limits of Wells: Only customers living on Booker St.
Our system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore adequate pressure, disinfectant levels, and bacteriological quality and has provided TCEQ with testing results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling as of Sept. 23, 2024.
