Steven Andrew “Andy” Lindsey
A funeral service for Steven Andrew “Andy” Lindsey, 53, of Alto will be Friday, September 20th, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Hilltop Baptist Church in Alto. A visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will follow at the Lindsey Family Cemetery in Lindseyville. Andy was born October 14th, 1970 in Lufkin, Texas to Marion Dwain Lindsey and Delores Eddings.
After a long stay in Methodist Hospital, Andy rededicated his life and talked with Jesus continually. His main focus was telling others about Jesus Christ. He wanted to give Jesus his Lord and Savior praise, honor, and glory. He received his wings and entered into glory Monday afternoon. He was an avid outdoorsman, and produce farmer. He was also in the fur business and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He never met a stranger and loved his girls and grandsons. He is preceded in death by his father Marion Dwain Lindsey.
He is survived by his mother and step father Dee and Joel Wood of Pollok, Texas; step mother Laura Lindsey of Alto, Texas; daughters and son-in-law Hilary Ashtin Lindsey of Lindseyville, Texas; Morgan Brooke and Jordan Roach of Maydelle, Texas, and Jenna Leigh Lindsey of Lindseyville, Texas; brothers Nathan Lindsey of Alto, Texas, Mikie Carter of Nacogdoches, Texas, and Jason Collie of Alto, Texas; grandsons Holden Roach and Haze Roach and his very best friend Tim Germany, as well as numerous other family and friends.
