Shooting Leaves One Injured

On July 09, 2024, at approximately 06:56 hours, the Jacksonville Police Department received a call about a shooting that occurred in the 700 block of Elm Street.

Jacksonville Police and Jacksonville Fire / EMS responded to the scene. Upon arrival, officers located one male injured from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim has been identified. However, the identifying information is not being released at this time.

The Jacksonville Police Department has identified the shooter and are working diligently towards apprehending the suspect.
