Southern Utilities boil water notice lifted

2:40 pm Saturday, June 8, 2024: Southern Utilities just lifted their boil water notice.

Southern Utilities Company has issued a boil water notice until further notice for ALL of its Smith County and Cherokee County customers. They have asked the Smith County Emergency Operations Center to help spread the news to the 60,000 customers who are affected.
