A Huge Thank You!
Our part to East Texas has been continuously battered by one storm after another in the last several weeks causing untold damage to the infrastructure in our County.
As we learned on Monday when a lineman was severely injured, what a dangerous job it is to restore your electricity. But it goes beyond just the power companies. Many of us also lost water when huge trees are uprooted taking underground water lines with them.
County workers risks their lives trying to clearing roads and law enforcement have no choice responding to calls in this weather.
Beyond your inconvenience when you lose services that we might take for advantage, take a moment to be grateful for all those that place their lives in danger to restore your utilities or answer a call for help. Be patient and say a prayer for their safety.
