Loving husband, father and grandfather, Lindall Roark of Houston, TX departed his home here on earth to enter his eternal life in glory on Friday, November 3rd, 2023. The second of Charles and Mary Roarkā€™s three sons, born January 16, 1945 in Jacksonville, TX and grew up in Alto.

He joined the US Navy at 18 years of age in 1963 and served on an ammo supply ship off the coast of Vietnam. After receiving an honorable discharge in 1967, he surrendered his life to Christ and was baptized in 1972, soon thereafter meeting Brenda, the love of his life. at a church camp meeting in Lufkin.

He relocated to the Houston area, attending Gulfgate Pentecostal Church, where he and Brenda got married January 30th, 1976. They welcomed their one and only child into the world in November 1977. In 1980 they moved into their home and became lifelong members to their new family church, Christian Tabernacle (now known as Inspire Church). Lindall worked as a machine operator for twenty years at Southern Pacific Railroad. He was a passionate outdoorsman, hunter, fisherman, gun and knife collector and loved to travel. He loved and treasured his family and friends.

Waiting here until we see him again later, his wife of 47 years Brenda; younger brother Glenn; daughter Melissa, son in law David; grandchildren Bryan Rose, Celena Rose, Joshua Keen and David Keen Jr.

Now reunited with his mother, father and elder brother Don in paradise. Andrew Heard will officiate the celebration of life service on Wednesday, November 8th at Inspire Church, 11727 E. Sam Houston Pkwy N., Houston, TX 77044 at 11am, visitation will start at 10am. Graveside services will follow at 4pm at Old Palestine Cemetery in Alto.
