Margaret “Camille” Jones

It is with great sadness we share that Margaret “Camille” Titel Jones went home to be with her Lord on September 13, 2023, at the age of 93. She was born February 19, 1930, in Oconto Falls, Wisconsin.

A wake will begin on Sunday, September 17, 2023, at 3:00 pm with an overnight vigil at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Rusk, Texas. The recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 4:00 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled at 10:00 am on September 18, 2023, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, with Father Jay Lucas officiating. Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.

Camille was a former member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Jacksonville, Texas and a current member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Rusk, Texas.

Camille was past president of Toastmistress International, Cherokee Civic Theater and the Pink Ladies. She loved watching birds and squirrels in her yard, reading, working crossword puzzles and knitting. Camille was an avid sports fan, who dearly loved her Green Bay Packers. She loved her children, and she loved her church and served as Lector for over 35 years.

Camille was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Eugene R. Jones; parents Dr. Fred and Faye Titel and twin sisters, Mona and Mae Titel.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Son and daughter-in-law, Gordon and Susan Jones of Duncanville, Tx; Daughters Patricia Jones of Arlington, Tx and Lynne Jones of Lake Dallas, Tx; Daughters and sons-in-law; Caryn and Robbie Stewart of Jacksonville, Tx and Monica and John Hocke of Buena Vista, Co. She leaves behind six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers are Jason Bollinger, Samuel Jones, Brian Houser, Ben Jones, Aidan Bollinger, and Seth Jones.
