Donald L. Stewart

Donald L. Stewart, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2023, in Wells, Texas, following a valiant battle with end-stage Alzheimer's. He was born December 11, 1944, in Clay City, Illinois and has resided in Rusk, Texas since 1994.

He was the beloved husband of Jeanie Stewart, a bond that spanned over three decades filled with love, laughter, and mutual respect. Donald is also survived by his grandsons, Christopher and Michael Stewart; step sons, Charles and Scott Jenkins and several grandchildren; as well as two brothers, Terry and Bob Stewart; and a sister, Sandy McGaha.

Arrangements have been handled by McNutt Funeral home in Lufkin, Texas. No services are planned at this time.
