Oncor announces July 13 planned outage in J'ville

JACKSONVILLE – As part of an ongoing reliability improvement project, Oncor will be updating electric equipment in Jacksonville around the East Side Elementary Area on Thursday morning, July 13. Residents and customers in this area will see an influx of Oncor personnel and vehicles in the community as this project is completed.

Part of this work will require temporary power outages for approximately 50 Oncor customers in the following areas: from the Waco Street and James Street intersection going west to Austin Street, from the James Street and Austin Street intersection going north to Nacogdoches Street, from the San Antonio Street and Neches Street intersection going south to John Street, and the alley between El Paso Street and San Antonio Street going from Austin Street to Neches Street.

Outages will be begin at approximately 8:00 a.m. and conclude by approximately 12:00 p.m. Oncor will have all available resources engaged and focused on completing the work as quickly and safely as possible to mitigate the potential impact on our customers. Oncor personnel are also going door-to-door to notify these Jacksonville residents of Thursday’s temporary outages, and customers with questions can contact Oncor at 888-313-6862.
