Funeral services for Amy Cathleene Starr-Hicks, of Alto will be at 11AM, Tuesday, January 24th at the Hilltop Baptist Church in Alto with Rev. Dusty Lee officiating. There will be a visitation time from 10 AM until service time on Tuesday. She will be laid to rest at Old Palestine Cemetery near Alto.

Amy was taken to be with our Lord, Tuesday, January 17, 2023 in Alto, at the age of 54. She was born November 6, 1968 in Houston, Texas to Jimmy Foreman and Judy Beth Moake Foreman.

Amy attended Westfield High School in Houston; received 2 associate degrees from TVCC in Athens, obtained an LVN license in Waco and attended Police Academy in Athens. Amy enjoyed family genealogy, researching subjects that were interesting to her and had a huge interest in the medical field. She also had a huge interest in Photography.

She was preceded in death by grandparents Ova Allen Moake and Peggy McCrory Moake and Henry Bruce Foreman and Marie Rossmeyer Foreman.

Amy is survived by daughter, Kayley Elisabeth Starr of Alto; son Dalton Brian Starr of Tracyton, Washington; parents Jim Foreman and Judy Moake Foreman of Alto; brother Aaron Foreman of Alto; and niece Alexa Foreman of Conroe.

Pallbearers will be Jai Garcia, Tommy Richardson, Jeremy Jackson, Chris Griffin, James Tipton and Kent Stanley. Honorary pallbearers will be Aaron Foreman, Dalton Starr and Jim Bob Lindsey.

Amy’s memory will be cherished by her children, her parents and many other family members and friends. She was precious to us all.
