Honoring Dr. King

A crowd gathered at the Jacksonville Public Library for a Jan. 16 celebration honoring the life of civil rights activist Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The group marched from the library, along Commerce Street, to Sweet Union Baptist Church, where a special service was held. Mrs. Charlie Mae Esco introduced the speakers and pastor Sedric Moore lifted up those in attendance in prayer.
