Dan Ruby

Funeral Services for Dan Ruby, 75, of Forest, Texas will be held Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Falvey Memorial Methodist Church, Wells, Texas with Rev. Mike Waters officiating. Interment will follow in the Thompson Cemetery.

Mr. Ruby was born March 8, 1947 in Jacksonville, Texas, son of the late Jessie Mae Allen and Rayford Ruby. He passed away November 21, 2022 in his residence.

Dan was a loving husband, father, and brother. He proudly served his country during the Vietnam War in the United States Army. On his free time he loved hunting and visiting family, friends, and those who could not get out. He loved his Houston Astros and watching basketball. He was a longtime member of the Falvey Memorial Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Patty Ruby of Forest; son, Daniel Ruby of Forest; brothers and sister-in laws, Carol Allen and Carolyn Ruby of Forest, and David and Diane Ruby of Forest; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Kathleen Derrington.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Falvey Memorial Methodist Church.
