National Coffee with a Cop Day

Wednesday, Oct. 5, is National Coffee with a Cop Day, and Rusk Interim Police Chief Rick Pippins is inviting local residents to join him for a cup of hot brew at the Whataburger in Rusk at 7 a.m.

Members of the Rusk police department will be on hand to greet the community and enjoy some fellowship.

Pippins will provide coffee for the first 20 visitors Wednesday morning.
