Dean Wilson

A memorial service for Dean Wilson, age 68, is scheduled Saturday, June 18, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at the Church of Christ in Rusk, Texas. Keith Sunday will officiate.
Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service.

Dean was born January 18, 1954, in Meade, Kansas to Willard and Wanda (Dixon) Wilson and entered into eternal life on June 11, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Rachael Finley; brother, George Wilson of Richland Hills, Texas; sister, Donna Wolak of New Jersey; and brother, Jerry Don Wilson of Duncan, OK.

Left to cherish Dean’s memory are his wife of 47 years, Jonna Wilson of Rusk; brother, Roy and wife Barbara Wilson of Sanger, Texas; and sister, Sue and husband Johnny Williams of Duncan, OK. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Callie Burist and Donavan Burist; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dean was an auto inspector for numerous extended warranty companies. He spent time fishing and hunting outdoors. He enjoyed watching sports and was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He attended Church of Christ in Rusk.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the late David DuBose, Dan DuBose, Glenn Wilson, James L. Blankinship, James H. Blankinship, and David Blankinship.
