Wells tree lighting

Four-year-old Riley Vest of Lufkin shares her Christmas list with Santa Claus during the Dec. 4 tree-lighting ceremony in Wells. More than 100 people showed up for the event, held this year in front of Wells City Hall. Santa arrived atop a fire truck, distributing toys to happy children. Riley is the daughter of Mark Vest and his wife Katie, who is a Wells native.
