Additional areas have been added to Rusk Rural WSC boil water notice, effective until further notice:

Customers can contact the RRWSC office to see if their area is included in the boil water notice.

Rusk Rural Water Supply Corporation has issued a boil water notice Monday morning until further notice for the following areas:

FM 23 (south end)

FM 1857 (Sardis)

CR 2214

CR 2215

CR 2216

CR 2217

CR 2218

CR 2219

CR 2313

CR 2323

Customers also can call the Rusk Rural WSC office at 903-683-6178, to see if they are included in the notice.

Due to conditions which have occurred recently in the water system, TCEQ has required the system to notify all customers to boil their water prior to consumption – drinking, cooking or making ice. Water should be brought to a vigorous boil, then boiled for two minutes, then cooled for consumption.
