Entities closed on Good Friday

A number of different schools and government offices will be closed April 2, for Good Friday.

Schools with a Good Friday holiday include those in Jacksonville, Alto, New Summerfield, Troup, Wells, Bullard and the BMA Theological Seminary in Jacksonville; city offices in Jacksonville, Rusk, Reklaw, Cuney, Troup, Bullard, New Summerfield and Alto also will be closed April 2.

Jacksonville College and Bullard’s Brook Hill School will be closed April 2 and April 5, while Wells city officials say their office will be open on April 2.
