Rusk council calls special March 4 meeting

Rusk city leaders will gather at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Rusk Civic Center, 555 Euclid St., to consider a resolution directing publication of notice of intention to issue combination tax and revenue certificates of obligation.

During the meeting, the council also will consider separate RFQs (requests for quote) for bond counsel, financial services and engineer services for Texas Water Development Board, according to an agenda.

The counsel reserves the right enter into executive session to discuss – but not vote on – items while in executive session, as per Texas Government Code.
