County leaders meet 9 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23

RUSK – Cherokee County Commissioners’ Court will meet 9 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2021, in regular session at the Cherokee County Courthouse in Rusk to address the following:

• Consider laying utility lines in each precinct

• Consider approval of tax refunds greater than $500

• Consider appointment of Airport Advisory Board members

• Consider acceptance of resolution for Victims of Crime project #28978-06

• Consider budget amendment for 2nd District Court

• Consider approval to enter into an interlocal agreement with North Central Texas Council of Goverments, a purchasing cooperative

• Consider acceptance of GASB Statement No. 75 report for the year ended Sept. 30, 2020

• Consider a consent agenda that includes meeting minutes, monthly reports of county auditor and county treasurer, Precinct 4 Constable Jamie Beene’s 2020 yearly report and racial profile and authorize payment of bills/payroll/transfer of funds
