Sadie Bobbitt

Sadie Bobbitt, a longtime resident of Ponta, died November 27, 2020 at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Jacksonville, Texas.

She was born March 2, 1922 and lived most of her life in the Ponta area. She loved animals and was known for her many animals which included chickens, goats, geese, doves, cows, dogs and cats. She loved attending her church and spent many hours working in her garden. She was an avid painter and painted many beautiful pictures. She also painted baptismal murals for three churches in the local area.

She is survived by her daughter Tammy Franks; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Wallace Thompson Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, December 3, at Weches Cemetery.
